Support for Planning Services

This project supports ongoing collaboration related to the implementation of the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority Mental (VCHA) Health & Addictions Strategic Plan. As content experts at the strategic level, CARMHA will offer the following:

1. Aid to clarify vision and strategic direction by keeping VCHA in touch with relevant external developments nationally and internationally.
2. Contribution to the work of understanding sub-populations and evidence based interventions to address needs across the continuum of care
3. Guidance for and participation in the development of pilots to demonstrate the effectiveness of new approaches to service delivery (eg shared care and self-managment)
4. Support for the development of an evaluation framework for the Mental Health and Addiction Regional Strategy
